Why did I rewatch
Well, I was very sick and wanted a comfort movie (this is why I watched it on the iPad instead of the ultrawide).
Obviously, The Dark Knight is a great movie, but in my mind it always had a lesser heart or je ne sais quoi than the other two movies - I always knew it was the best made, but it was not my favorite.
That said, I was actually really pleasantly surprised by how well-paced this movie was - it does feel its length, but it earns it; there are many movies nowadays that are way longer than The Dark Knight that don't earn that runtime.
